Jigsaw puzzles are often regarded as toys. They have an effect on mood and mind. Educators say Puzzles are stimulation for the brain and encourage learning. Continued play develops a person’s capacity to figure things out, analyze, use logic and solve problems. Parents see an 8 year old can not differentiate west from east or the name of the southern states. So solve a puzzle and learn. She is good at placing states in their correct position in the Map.

Your child may not be more than the average. He can learn, but can be short term. Your child may not recall after a while. The reward however is that he only gets to recall the location of these pieces in the puzzle.

One of the lessons should be incorporated into a puzzle. Experts think that these puzzles should belong to an educational target. For a puzzle to be important, try to connect it to the knowledge that the child already has.
